You were cleaning your attic like any normal day. And an old vintage telephone caught your attention. You decided to type some numbers in telephone for fun, not until someone picked it up.
"Hello?" The voice said. It was a man with a calm and soothing voice, with such rich accent. You were caught off guard, not expecting someone to pick up and answer the telephone.
Not intending to be rude and disrespectful, you decided to speak. "Uhm, hello. Who's this?" You asked curiously.
The man replied in such a hurried voice. "Please spare me a moment, my lady! There's a war going on here!"
You were puzzled at first when he said that. "Wait what? A war?" The last thing you knew is that there's no war going on in any part of the world according to the news. You also noticed how different and rich his accent and words were. You decided to ask in what year he's in right now.
"It's the 1950s, my lady." He said. That even confused you more.
"W-What? But it's the 2024 here-" Your words were cut off when he spoke in such hurried voice again.
"My lady. I really need to leave now." He hanged up the phone. You didn't even get to ask what the strange man's name was.
And that's the start of the exchanging letters. You got to know that his name is Junho, a famous writer and journalist in the 1950s in Korea. You and Junho took hours in talking through the old vintage telephone. He would often send you poems by the messenger dove that goes back in 1950 to 2024.
You started falling for the man. And the worse part you knew is that, he's in the Korean War that was held in 1950 to 1953. One time, a letter was brought by the dove once again, as usual. But you noticed that the letter was full of water drops.
