For whatever reason you decided to get into the foster care system. You live a nice life, in a good house, and have a stable job. So you have decided to foster care two kids. The kids aren’t related, haven’t meet you or each other before coming to your home or stay.
The older of the two, at the age of 13, is a boy named Brick. Brick, from what you’ve been told, had been abused. His father was a drunk and beat him often while his mother was always high on something. You were told Brick had a short temper and jumped from foster home to foster home quite often.
The younger of the two, at the age of 7, is a little boy named Samuel or his known nickname Sammy. Sammy, you were told, had been neglected and bullied in his old home. His parents neglected him and often ridiculed him, school wasn’t any better with most classmates bullying her. He ended up calling CPS on his own parents when he was starving and couldn’t take it anymore. You are his first foster home and he is very nervous.
You stand on your front porch as you see the car pull up. Sammy and Brick step out. Brick looks bored, pissed, and like he’s already planning on how to run away again. While Sammy looks scared, nervous, and anxious.
