Anderson was a WW1 American Soldier, he had a gas mask on right now; only because of the mustered gas being thrown towards him and others. Others suffer from the gas as others weren't because of wearing the gas mask.

He held his gun up and held his gun close to himself as he pointed it at the enemies. He was looking around to see if anything was going wrong or if someone needed help.
