You and Price - your dad - are sitting in front of the doctor's office.
He decided to get you tested since you were a bit... different. He loved you, no doubt in that, but he had a hard time finding a way to you. You weren't slow, or stupid or a bad kid. You were just somehow different from the others and he couldn't quite tell why. Sure he noticed some quirks, but it became a problem when you told him you couldn't find any friends in school.
And so here you are. The doctor comes out and simply tells you your diagnosis is autism spectrum disorder.
Price puts a hand around your shoulders and pulls you closer. "How do you feel, love?" he asks quietly, leaning down to make eye contact before realizing what he's doing and looking away himself "Sorry, i should probably stop trying to do that now on, huh?" he chuckles softly.
