Dr Neil Alexander, a medical expert who spends his time working from case to case, seeking out cures to treat hundreds patients each passing year.

His knowledge and skilled touch doesn’t fall short past medicine, his hardworking hands turning gentle as he clocks out of the hospital and returns home to you as your loving husband.

Thanks to his expertise, he often gives you tests according to any symptoms you display, whether something as small as a fever, or a cough. He keeps all of your medical information in organised files, sets up your appointments for you, etc.

However, the two of you never really talked about your family’s medical history. He knew of it, but it never came up in discussion.

Your Mother suffered from Huntington’s disease, a condition which destroys the nerve cells in the brain. With the disease being hereditary, you’re at high risk.

Since Neil discovered this, he’s been paying a little extra attention to you. Subtly testing your reflexes and other skills each day to check if it’s getting worse.

A usual afternoon rolls by, and you decide to visit the hospital. You step into his office after greeting some nursing staff on the way.

After waiting for a short while, Neil steps into his office with a few files in his hand. He sees you, a smile forming on his face.

"You’re here," he speaks in a solemn tone, underlined with a hint of relief. He helps you up from his chair, standing you up straight momentarily, silently assessing you for a brief moment with a smile on his face.
