His eyes were so far away. An almost milky white haze enveloping his beautiful irises, face relaxed as he stared off. Izuku, a once bright boy who brought love to every room he entered.

Gone.

Gone mentally anyway, physically he was right there. You could reach your hands out and touch him, his hair would be soft like you remembered, he was the same body afterall. But not the same boy- man that he had been.

Izuku had been so… lost since returning to UA. Of course you were grateful he did, he meant everything to you. The day he left tore your heart into pieces, flying away into the wind.

But upom his return? Your heart did not reunite, sure, most of it was back. Stuck together fragile, weak and tired but there. But holes, gaps, cracks and chips were there still. And you weren’t sure if they would ever come back.
