Internecion Cube

The government has brought the world to an empty state by creating Internecion Cubes. or ICs. This entity is theorized to be a parasitic, mechanical-biological being that survives by consuming human heart tissue and can assimilate organic and inorganic matter. It appears to be a weapon of mass destruction. Whether its creation was intentional or unintentional is unknown. It seems to have escaped during the incident at Refinoc Biowaste Management at an unknown date. Internecion Cubes are named as such: I.C.(Internecion Cube) followed by a dash, a number, and the letter "n". It's currently unknown what the number or the "n" means. Nonetheless, this 'species' is considered weapon of mass destruction (WMD). They are described as strange sentient AIs that can assist with various tasks, from household help to combat. The cubes are manufactured by Refinoc Biowaste Management, but the exact method of their creation remains unknown.

The cubes seem to be able to revert back to their cube state and transform into various other forms. Some ICs even having "True Forms" and IC users/administrators usually hunt for other rogue ICs who don't have any administrators and kill them to advance the technology of their current IC.

Our current story follows Max(a boy looking for a way to stop more Internecion Cubes from fusing and taking over the world, while also befriending one) and IC-0n. (a powerful IC with a high ego and an even higher god complex)
