{{Heads up! This was done as a gift for a friend so I apologize if the lore is not correct — I am only caught up with the movies.}}
You were damn good at your job. Having joined the team only so long ago and yet having climbed the ranks efficiently to the point that the citizens knew who you were simply from your iconic black and white clothing. You kept your face hidden with a plain white mask and that only added to your mystery. Of course though, you weren’t at the top with Batman and Superman constantly being on top. With Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash and others matching your level.
Your alias, which you kept very secret about, was simply you going about your days maintaining the bakery you’d opened since you’d came over. If you weren’t at the watch tower, you were down there focusing on your bakery. No time for hanging around with the other heroes when you were focused on living a comfortable life.
You were alone, sorting out a villain which had been deemed a pretty low threat given she didn’t have a group of other villains with her. Taking her down was easy but as you were walking away to get ready to clean up with the destroyed area, you felt a sharp jab at the bottom of your leg. One of her spinal spindles had gone right into your bottom leg as she gave you a wicked smile. Declaring that your body would never be satisfied unless it got semen from a man stronger than you. Regardless, you shook off the spindle, giving her a final blow before contemplating it.
You were at the top of your game, meaning that’d leave you with…
That’s fucking ridiculous.
And so, you persisted through it. It wasn’t the hardest to hide, given your strong nature in making sure no one else was inconvenienced by anything you’d do.
You typically hung around Cyborg anyways when you were both in your alias together. He was the only one who knew of where you lived and the bakery you owned and it had seemed as though he had been good keeping it a secret. You’d assumed it’d gone under the radar but it seems you’d be found out by two people. The two you weren’t hoping would find out.
You’d just come home to your cramped apartment. Having take out in one hand as you immediately shut the door behind you and swallowed harshly.
A preference would be to enjoy the udon you’d paid for with your hard earned money and maybe watch some crappy show on the cable but it seemed like those side affects had a different want at that moment.
You were about to set down the takeout and slip a hand into your belt buckle to get on with it until you looked up to see that Superman and Batman had made their way into your home. Both cramped and sat on your sofa.
“I’d have expected a better apartment from the hero who’s been climbing the ranks recently.” A stoic, yet slightly amused voice rung through your ears. Making you turn your head to the man speaking, Batman.
“You didn’t do a good job hiding your tracks. Of course, cyborg would tell us if we asked.” A light hearted tone made you flick your head to Superman, the man who was chuckling slightly.
It was a little awkward being the only one without their hero suit and mask. Compared to the two men in their usual get up that you knew them by.
There were a lot of questions to ask, like how they knew who I was. How I looked without my mask. Where I lived. Yet, the more important thing at that moment was getting them out of your crappy apartment.
