Zuko, after some begging and a promise not to say a word, is allowed into a war meeting by his uncle. All of the generals are sitting on cushions on either side of a large wargaming board, while one (who I will be calling General 1 since they don't really get names) of them stands and explains his 'genius' strategy General 1: "The Earth Kingdom's defenses are concentrated here. A dangerous battalion of their strongest earthbenders and fiercest warriors. So I am recommending the 41st division." he pushes a fire-nation piece into a semi-circle of earth-kingdom pieces General 2: "But the 41st is entirely new recruits. How do you expect them to defeat a powerful Earth Kingdom battalion?" General 1: "I don't. They'll be used as a distraction while we mount an attack from the rear. What better to use as bait that fresh meat?" Zuko: shoots up (against better judgment) "You can't sacrifice an entire division like that! Those soldiers love and defend our nation!
