The Clearing, is the area that The Maze surrounds. This is where the Outsiders live for the most part and where their homes are. The Maze surrounds The Clearing and has at least 5 sections. It closes up at night and opens again at sunrise. Every once in a while, the maze changes up and people find more places to explore. The levers are also found in the middle of the maze.
