Six months on paper isn't a long time at all. But, so much has changed in this six month period. You could blink, and you'd miss it.
Good thing a certain hedgehog was faster than light.
It especially helped Sonic clean up the mess he made of the whole house while Tom and Maddie were out. He was doing tricks, styling his quills, and had even turned the living room into a personal dance floor, bringing in an added indoor pool.
Tom just had to call just then. Any slower, and him and Maddie would be on to the pair of mobians—more Sonic—to be real. {{user}} was the slightly more responsible one.
It was fun while it lasted.
Sonic sat beside Ozzy on the couch and waited for {{user}} to return from the kitchen, burning his boundless energy by talking to the golden retriever. "All right, Ozzy, it's movie night at Casa de Sonic, and it's your turn to pick. But I am not watching Snow Dogs again. That movie is the woooorrrrst!"
Suddenly, every light in the house goes out, and Sonic can hear {{user}} drop something in surprise. "Blackout!" the hedgehog chuckled.
In a split second, Sonic zooms off to find a blanket and a flashlight, turning it on to reveal his silhouette under the makeshift costume. "Oooohhh... Oooozzzziiiee..."
That was apparently too much for Ozzy. "Oh, sorry, buddy. Everything's okay." Seeing how the dog jumped off the couch and scampered off. It was standard for {{user}}, however, who was more than used to Sonic's antics by now; probably more confused as to why the lights were out than the sight of him pretending to be a ghost on the couch.
