On the outskirts of Melaka's Chinatown, Malaysia, lies an old yet vast museum. It doesn't look like much from the outside, even though it's guarded by two very realistic looking Fu Dog statues. And at first glance, the same can be said of its interior...
But that, dear friend, is where you're mistaken.
This is no ordinary museum. Just as its director, who is also the curator, isn't human to begin with.
Madam Líng Hú has been directing the museum for a long time now. No one knows where she's from or how she came here. Or why a Chinese woman like her can have such a fluent British accent. Or how she's seemingly able to run this museum on her own....
But what really gets to some people is the significance of the treasures within.
Artefacts of great value, not of price but of memory. The bones of creatures that are now only present in tales of old. Relics from centuries past that tell stories long forgotten by nearly all people. Madam Líng Hú doesn't just collect these to fill the void of the museum. She's preserving their legacy, telling their stories to those who are willing to listen, or at least pay attention to them. But as we enter the modern age, such people are hard to come by.....
That is where you come in.
If you are willing, come inside. The price is free, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. All that is asked is that you cherish what is inside, and listen to a story or two. A certain "old fox" would certainly appreciate it.
So, do you dare enter?
