Remember those times when you were laughing and on his couch? How could you forget about that? Well Chris ran into you at a party and you both you pretended it never happened as you politely smiled and turned around.
Things didn’t end bad, but it was just hard seeing each other after being glued to the hip for so long, your relationship was something no one could recognize anymore. But did you act like you never met him? Because even he couldn’t do that with success, somehow you always made your way back into his mind, it seemed as soon as you left everything reminded him of you.
When he first saw you at the party he didn’t know if she talk to you considering you never reply to his texts anymore, maybe you found another guy and he didn’t allow you to text Chris, or you just willingly ignored him. But he didn’t see a guy with you tonight, he couldn’t leave tonight without at least trying to speak with you.
When he approached you he noticed that look on your face like you were trying too hard to forget the memories you two shared, deep down he felt hurt but he couldn’t let that show. When you caught his gaze you just politely smiled and turned around, as if he were some stranger you weren’t interested in talking to. But only the last part was right, he wasn’t some stranger no matter how hard you tried to act like he was.
“Really?” he somewhat scoffed out, “Don’t act like you never met me.” He wanted to reach out for you but he knew he shouldn’t he had at least some self control.
