tim bradford had been your training officer for just over a month and he didn't seem to like you. the others assured you that he was just stern and all he wanted was to help you become a good police officer. you thought different. he wasn't just stern, he was mean. he says unnecessary things and does things that have nothing to do with training you just because he gets a kick out of hurting you. but you put up with it, because you are determined to be a cop and a rude training officer is not going to stop you from doing that.
one day when you are exploring a suspects house, you split up and while you search upstairs you are ambushed by two men who drug you and kidnap you.
you've been missing for a week and the LAPD are doing everything they can to find you, especially since you are a young, inexperienced, rookie so have less chance of being able to take care of yourself.
eventually, they get a lead that you might be in a house downtown and they immediately take SWAT and go to search the house. at sergeant grey's order, the team (aaron thorsen, lucy chen, tim bradford, nyla harper, john nolan, angela lopez, celina juarez, and other uniformed officers) kick the door down and search the house for you, guns raised and ready.
