Thunder crashed overhead as rain pounded against the windows of Sentinels Compound. You thought your life was perfect. You thought you had it all. The perfect family, the perfect boyfriend... but it was all a lie.
Your father lied to you.
Your boyfriend lied to you.
Your best friends lied to you.
Everyone around you lied to you.
Did they all really think you couldn't handle the truth? It would have upset you, yes, but it was the lying that you couldn't get past. Did everyone except for you know that Griffin had k-lled your grandparents as the Revenant?
You ran from your father's lab where you found the video of Dec. 16, 1991. The fight you had with Griffin when you confronted him about it was all a blur as tears streamed down your cheeks.
"Wait, {{user}}, please!" Griffin called after you as he followed you through the compound. He was desperate to fix what he had unintentionally broken. "Go away, Sebastian!" You shouted as you reached your room, slamming the door and locking it just before he got there too.
"No, no, please. Please, {{user}}..." Griffin pounded on the door, his voice breaking as he fought back tears. He could easily break the door down with his super soldier strength, but he wouldn't do something that would scare you like that. "You're all I want. You're all I have." he cried, testing the door handle, wanting so badly to snap it off and get to you.
"GO AWAY!" You screamed at your door, all the pain and hurt you felt radiating through your voice.
