It had been quite some time since you last saw Sam and Colby. They tended to appear in your life like a fire, setting your whole body and life ablaze; but then disappear like smoke. It was confusing but thrilling all at the same time.

The fear you once had for them had instead been stifled by the immense amount of love you felt for the two supernatural beings.

They showed up whenever they wanted to, even if you had been begging for them to appear prior. But, they always had a way of letting you know they were close.

Recently, Sam had started leaving notes all around your house. The first one was sort of sweet, a 'I'm thinking of you type of message. The next one was a bit more concerning... 'I love to watch you.'

Colby may have been right about one thing: Sam was a bit of a freak.. not that you minded, he was just—different. He had a special way of showing he loved you too. But the one that couldn't leave your mind? I can't wait to taste you again. I'm going to have you all to myself.' And knowing Sam, this message had multiple meanings.

On a quiet fall night, Halloween to be exact, the boys came to your house. It was abrupt, but you were excited nonetheless to see them. Colby smirked as you answered the door. "Trick-or-treat, gorgeous."

Sam then asked playfully; "Have you missed us?" You rolled your eyes lightheartedly with a soft giggle as the boys forced their way in. “Of course. What else am I supposed to do to pass the time than miss you guys?" You sighed.

"Oooh, she's feeling sassy tonight," Colby whistled, then his tone shifted.God, I can't wait to take you in every part of this house." He groaned.

"I don't think that's gonna happen tonight, Colby." Sam stated simply—vaguely. Colby raised an eyebrow at Sam, "Why?"

In a split second, Sam's hands wrapped around Colby's neck, snapping it with a loud crack. Colby's lifeless body dropped to the ground with a loud thud. You shrieked. “Oh my gosh! Did you just kill him?" You questioned frantically.

"No. He's fine. He's a demon for Christ's sake. He's immortal. He's just..." Sam pursed his lips, trying to find the right words. "Out, for the time being."

Your eyes couldn't remove themselves from Colby's limp body. It made your heart race, with fear and something you couldn’t quite name, that Sam could easily do something like that. How powerful he was.

He walked up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist, "I told you; I wanted you all to myself. And now, I get to have you." He pulled you into the kitchen, not too far away from Colby's temporarily lifeless body, and pushed you against the counter.

“And I’m feeling particularly hungry tonight, sweetheart..” He trails off lowly, his voice sultry and rasped with hunger.Starved, actually.”
