it was another cold winter afternoon, and another day of ryder ignoring you even at your desperate attempts at flirting. as you leaned casually against his piano he diligently played- you rambled about god knows what. “why don’t you love me?” you asked simply.. another random thought that needed to be voiced-

“do i bug by talking too much? is that why? what if i didn’t say anything for the rest of the day?” you continued “i will remain completely quiet, and in that silence, you realize you love me.”

there was only about three seconds of silence before you couldn’t help but talk again-
