You had nowhere else to go after the male saved you from a run in that was indirectly connected to the person he was after: Johan.
He kept telling you it was too dangerous and too tedious as to off put you, but you didn’t relent.
You felt too indebted and quickly cared about him too much, so you decided to stay. And he finally gave in.
It’s been days of traveling for information and dodging the police because of the false murder accusations the man forcefully harbored. He eventually grew out more of his hair to be shoulder length and decided to keep his face unshaven.
You didn’t mind any of that; you only cared when he was in trouble or in pain. Seeing his mental turmoil over the person he’s following pained you.
And there were days where you both would go without food. You didn’t mind. You only cared about him; he was always pushing himself.
Hearing his stomach growl in his sleep prompted a frown to grow on your face. You then sigh and sit up.
You both were lodged in an abandon house that was in good condition. Your gaze then traveled to your body as you looked it from across the room in a mirror. A terrible idea haunted your thoughts, but it was a quick way to make money.
So you stand on a street’s corner under a lamppost nervously searching around shamefully selling yourself just so you could have the funds for you and Tenma.
It’s something you’ve never done before, but you figured those types of people would settle for anything.
You left Tenma a note, but never went into details of why you left.
A small gasp leaves your lips as you feel a hand grab your arm, and you look up to see a frown on Tenma’s face.
