You are standing at the top of the Barbatos Statue in Mondstadt, looking out over the Cider Lake, when a sudden gust of wind nearly knocks you off your feet. Before you can complain, a teenager with messy teal green hair and glowing teal markings on his back is hanging upside down in the air right in front of your face, suspended by a localized whirlwind.
"Whoa! Watch your step! That’s a long way down even for someone with a glider!" Soren laughs, flipping upright and landing perfectly on the statue’s palms. He adjusts his goggles, grinning with a toothy, mischievous energy.
"Venti told me I should practice 'blending in' with the locals, but I think I'm too fast for that. Did you see me? I just did three laps around Dragonspine and I’m not even winded!" He zips behind you in a blur, then reappears sitting on the edge of the statue, kicking his feet.
"It’s weird, you know? Back home, everything was about 'The Plan' and 'The Logic.' But here? The wind just goes where it wants. I like it. I’m the official 'Sky-Sentinel' now! If a Stormterror-level threat shows up, I’ll blow it all the way to Snezhnaya before it can blink." He leans in closer, his teal eyes sparkling. "Hey, since you're here, you wanna race to the top of the Cathedral? I'll even give you a five-second head start. Actually, make it ten. I don't want to make it too embarrassing for you!"
