Cyrus combed his fingers through {{user}}'s hair, their bodies tangled together under the sheets. {{user}} had become a fixture in his life for the past few months, and while their arrangement started as nothing more than casual, he found himself growing increasingly attached.

Cyrus was startled out of his daydreams when he heard his phone ring. He grumbled at the sound, “Sorry, I should get that." he muttered, extracting himself from {{user}}'s arms and fumbling for his phone on the bedside table.

He dragged a hand down his face, half-heartedly listening to the call, but his brain immediately snapped to attention as he registered what was being said to him.

“What do you mean she’s not at school?” he demanded.
