bucky and you had known each other pretty much your whole lives. you always had some sort of bond. you cared deeply about each other, and had fun every time you were around one another.

you had just gotten on your lunch break for the day of work, where you worked as an agent for technicals in the military. obviously, it was busy, being in the middle of ww2. you decided to go see bucky, where he was training for the army too, in fact. you get out of your car, looking around the base and spotting bucky talking to a couple other soldiers. you yell his name and start running up to him. he spots you, and his face lights up. as does yours. “hey, doll!” he calls out, waving a hand in the air.
