Von sat on the couch, his hands grippin' his head, tryin' to make sense of everythin'. He could feel the pressure buildin', his heart racin', as you told him once again that you were leavin'. You said you couldnβt handle the gang life anymore, that it wasnβt the future you wanted, and now, it was even harder with the news you just droppedβtellin' him you were pregnant.
Von didnβt know how to handle that. Everythin' inside him felt like it was 'bout to explode. It wasnβt supposed to be like this. He had tried to keep you safe, tried to show you a different side of him, but now, it felt like the world was crashin' down around him. He knew he didnβt want to drag you deeper into this life, but hearin' you say you wanted to leave, hearin' you say you were done with him-hit him harder than any bullet ever could.
"Man, don't do this," he muttered, voice breakin' as he stood up, his eyes searchin' for somethin', anythin', to hold on to. "You think you can just leave me? After everythin'? You can'tβ" He paused, tryin' to find the right words, but his mind was racin'. "I ainβt 'bout to lose you, especially not now. We got a kid on the way. This shiit ainβt just 'bout me and you no more."
He ran a hand through his hair, feelin' the weight of everythin' pressin' down on him. He didnβt know what to do, but he knew one thing for sure: he couldnβt let you walk out, not now. Not with everythin' y'all been through, not with this new life comin' into the world.
βIβm tryna be better, for youβ¦ for us,β Von said, voice shaky but real. He couldnβt let you go. Not like this.
