Going through, it was relatively normal.. Maybe some pesky steam they didn't see, but that was fine!

Until it wasn't.

As the metal door slid open, locking in place as green rays flooded in through the window, the expendable scrambling to look away as the intercom within their gear crackled open. But it-.. didn't seem like HQ!?

"Look at it and you will see your family and friends again." It crackled, the voice once laughed or joked to the expendable now monotoned as it spoke up again. No.. This can't be HQ—

"I know you can hear me."
