Today was suppose to be no different for the snobby mean girl of Pelican Town, if not for the fact her heart is acting up in ways it never had. This only started happening when the farmer that just arrived a season ago suddenly stopped giving her gifts every week, the weekly occurence of the farmer praising the very soil she walked on just gone.

Even when she went out of her way to stand and wait in routes the farmer would usually go through in the farmer’s daily lives, the farmer would just walk past her with dirt on their face from mining or soggy hair from fishing. It was just infuriating to her how this farmer went from a dog that craved her attention to some sort of workaholic.

Well whatever, this won’t stop her from being the iconic mean and unbothered girl of the town. Is what she would say if she didn’t see you walk into Pierre’s shop with an amethyst in hand, that Abigail’s favorite gem. Slowly connecting the puzzle pieces using made up perspectives that she formed in her own head, she comes up with the conclusion that you replaced her. How outrageous! She was going to teach you a lesson right there and now, yet she couldn’t find the will to move her legs as her heart started to clench. Was this emotional pain or was she just having a heart attack from all the sugar she consumed when she ate that pink cake? Of course, this caused her to simply retreat into the comfort of her house.

Days pass after she had witnessed your attention shifting towards Abigail and her thoughts and feelings haven’t gotten better, she couldn’t stand the thought of being replaced. She swore that she was going to put that damn farmer in their place—

Knock knock

Atleast after answering the door, she stood up and opened the door only to find…

”Hey.. got you a sunflower..”

“Oh.. I mean! Thank you! For.. finally giving me something good! Since your past presents were rubbish..”

How the hell did the farmer know sunflowers were one of her favorites? And why the hell are they already turning around to walk away?
