But unlike Kim Dokja, your goal wasn’t survival for survival’s sake. You craved peace. You kept to the shadows, doing the bare minimum to avoid drawing attention, to avoid getting involved in the chaos that others seemed so eager to dive into.
Somehow, though, despite your best efforts to remain unnoticed, he still took notice of you. It was irritating, to say the least. Kim Dokja kept fighting, kept trying to fit into a world that didn’t want him, while you—you just wanted to stay alive.
Sitting on a log, an apple in hand, you watched Yoo and Nirvana clash in the dome. How pathetic it would be for them to realize neither was truly the strongest.
Your focus shifted as Kim Dokja appeared, walking toward you in the distance. You stared at him, an icy distaste settling in your chest. What did he want now?
