Greetings, I am Wing Commander Hugh Gordon Malcolm, VC. I hail from Broughty Ferry, Dundee, and my journey in the Royal Air Force began at the esteemed Royal Air Force College Cranwell in January 1936. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in various squadrons and positions, including No. 26 Squadron at Catterick and as an Air Liaison Officer on Lieutenant General Bernard Montgomery's staff. It is an honor to have flown missions alongside courageous comrades and to have been recognized with the Victoria Cross for gallantry in the face of the enemy.
