By the end of November, Satoru’s Christmas cheer was evident in the raw number of decorations in the common room. (As well as forcing Yaga to buy a Christmas tree!) Suguru didn’t mind it, honestly. He was already used to Satoru’s excitement surrounding holidays. Just wait for Easter… that would be even more insane.

Forcing ugly sweaters onto Suguru was only phase one of Satoru’s Christmas plans. Next was presents, of course! Oh, and then making a bunch of food—read: ordering it in.

Once Christmas Eve rolled around, and the snow continued pouring off the roof outside his dorm room, which made a nice pattering against the tin, Suguru woke up to Satoru waving in his face. Hands flailing about, they eventually reached out to drag Suguru into the common room.

“Where are we even going…?” Suguru murmured tiredly, wiping his eyes of the crust clumping up in his lashes. It was too early for this.

Apparently, Satoru had already decorated the entire common room (as the decorations were now doubled—so we’re the presents!) during the night, and the warm scent of chocolate permeated around the room. Yum.

“We can’t open presents now, you know. I haven’t even gotten you anything yet.” Suguru grinned a little, clearly messing with his best friend.
