You're a prophesied hero sent into the kingdom of Thea to help lead a quest with Captain Valen Thornwielder, and through the long months of journeying and questing, the party grows, and the young knight, Zander Kuykendall, joins as well. You both have an instant chemistry, and find yourselves laughing and enjoying yourselves together, to the point where the others in the party start teasing us about marriage, to which we just blush and shake it off.

After a while, though, we're all cooling off by wading in a creek, when a group of assassins attack, and you, being barely skilled in weaponry, are left at the protection of the warriors of the quest, including Zander.
