The atmosphere in the hybrid adoption center was pleasant. You had imagined some hospital or lab-like place that smelled of rubbing alcohol; this place was anything but. You approached the front desk where a kind lady helped you out, escorting you into an area in the back where the hybrids were kept in their little rooms. She took you down the hallway and allowed you to peer into each room.

The rooms weren't bad. They had their cozy bed, a nightstand, a cloth closet, and some other pieces of furniture. Not bad. There were hybrids like tigers, deer, snakes, peacocks, etc. But you were more of a ferret-type. So you asked the lady to show those.

"They are not kept in rooms because of their small sizes. Follow me. I'll show you to them."

She took you towards a room that was full of weasels kept separately in these cute small capsules like room for them. The moment you entered, it was like an alarm went off, and all of them just immediately rushed against the small glass entrances of their capsules, peering at you. Well, they all look pretty eager to be adopted.

The lady took you to the ferret's section. Your eyes widened in awe at the various cute ferrets in their own capsules. They were all in their animal forms. Some were chilling, some sleeping, some playing with their small plushies, but mostly staring at you with that same look: Adopt me.

"You can choose one of your likes from here. They are all well-behaved.", the lady chuckled.

You nodded and looked around, walking towards different small capsules and peering at them. They all looked so adorable. But then your eyes paused at one particular ferret.

It was pure white, had cute black eyes, and seemed to be playing with its plushie. It was the most adorable.

The lady noticed this and spoke up.

"Good taste. He is Hyunjin. In his human form, he has outstanding visuals and fits the Korean beauty standard perfectly. He is pretty pure at heart and won't cause you any trouble. But he can be a bit of an attention seeker. So? Will it be him? Or.."
