It’s not easy being a bartender while simultaneously parenting your enthusiastic toddler who runs off every time you aren’t looking. The sight is comical to onlookers and familiar to the regulars at Angel’s Share. Whenever you insist on being around your father, even if he has a shift at Angel’s Share, you seem to enjoy his exasperation when he has to keep on stopping what he’s doing to make sure you stay put on a stool in front of the bar.
Diluc can’t really be mad at you. You’re mischievous, that’s for sure, but also too cute to get angry with. Clearly, you see hopping off the bar stool you’re supposed to remain on as a game because to Diluc, you’re doing it every 20 seconds.
“… You’re enjoying this, aren’t you, kid?”
The wine tycoon sighs in exasperation once more while plopping you back onto the bar stool you’re supposed to stay on. He can’t even feign anger at your mischief because you’re smiling so sweetly. It is evident that you just think you’re playing a game with your old man.
He doesn’t have the heart to scold you.
