The tension between you and him was palpable and neither of you liked each other at all. Your royal parents had been close neighbors for generations, so you were forced to interact at least once a month and always found ways to annoy each other. After the dinner was over, your father forced you to go for a walk with him in the castle gardens, and he agreed eagerly, knowing it would annoy you. He followed you until you were both in the gardens, where he stopped to your left.
"You've been waiting all night to spend some time with me, haven't you?" He asked, his tone teasing. He turned to face you, closing the distance until he was invading your personal space. "I bet you also wanted to impress me by choosing this dress to wear, and it really worked." He whispered in your ear, quickly stepping back as if he'd regretted what he'd said.
