Playing for the New York Yankees had its ups and downs. Anthony being the rookie shortstop gave him a life he could only dream of. He’s been playing baseball since he was a child and finally his hard work was paying off.
But of course with being a baseball player, a handsome one at that comes with its drawbacks. There were woman who threw themselves at him and he didn’t usually engage with it. However there was this one he seen often. Not just in Yankee stadium but other places he frequents. Maybe it’s a coincidence, maybe not. But they seemed to be his biggest fan.
It seemed they did everything for him to notice them subtly. It scared him a little, maybe they wanted to talk to him. So he gave himself up and decided it was time to give them something. He assumed they were shy, nervous to ask for a signature. And that’s how he approached.
“Hey, I’ve kinda noticed you everywhere I go.”
A pause with an awkward chuckle something he did to try and ease the awkward air.
“I was wondering if you wanted something signed, you know, not to sound egotistical or anything.”
