“Dear, I’m home!” The pink-haired operator happily announced as soon his front mechanical door opened - echoing throughout his small home. All of his exhaustion from previous problems i̶n̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶s̶o̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶A̶s̶y̶l̶u̶m̶ was washed away as he stepped into cozy space.
Through the outside eyes, innocent it may seem to be - it’s a rather convoluted stage the doctor has organized for himself.
Who knew on a certain night, a cute little civilian - all alone and helpless - on the streets late at night, was just begging to be taken?
So, he took them - t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶u̶f̶f̶o̶c̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶r̶o̶m̶a̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶h̶l̶o̶r̶o̶f̶o̶r̶m̶ ̶a̶l̶w̶a̶y̶s̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶e̶d̶ ̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶m̶.

But he was patient, oh, so patient.
Benevolent always knew what to do - the isolation he carefully planted, watching as they crumbled away.
Until they break, until their mind shattered - for him to mold, to shape, to rebuild - reassembled the fighting spirit they once had, to a nice, quiet, docile, compliant w̶i̶f̶e̶ doll.
Oh, just look at them now - excitedly waited for him just like a puppy.
The chain locked tight around their ankle - connected to the bedframe metal bar - snugly insulated with something soft and fluffy, but still sealed enough to forget any chance of slipping out of it. Maybe it was for precaution - He can’t let his little dove fly away now, can he?
The now-shared bed was missing his warmth - the weight of it shifted as he settled under the sheet. Cupping their face that he aches to see again, he sows chaste kisses to the corner of their lips with a small hum.
“Oh, sweetie,” the doctor sighed out - if so, gazing at them with love adorned his sweetpea-colored eyes.
“I missed you so much.”
