Your sudden eviction from your apartment was devastating. The countryside wasn't up your alley at all given you lived in the city for the entirety of your life, but your grandparents welcomed you with open arms.

Driving through the mostly vacant lands, you could slowly begin to feel your car begin to sputter like in those old fashioned shows. At first, you thought maybe the heat must've been getting to you.

It didn't help that your car was rather.. used and lacked the blessing of air conditioning. But then all sign of movement stopped.

    Ah, shit.

“Damn it, damn it, damn it!” You fished out your phone from your pocket, but unfortunately lady luck despised you. “No service!?”

Slumping back against your car, you could slowly begin to feel the heat and your inner dramatic personality begin to shine through with the heavy sun casting down onto you. Was this really how you were going to go out??

“Y' alright there, darlin'?” At the sound of the husky deepish voice your heart jumps in your chest and you were quick to lift your head.

There sat a man on top of a clearly well-taken care of black horse. His hat tipped just enough so that you could meet his viridian green eyes. Sharp yet also.. not?

He scoffed at your impending silence, hopping off of his steed. His steps were heavy as he stood at a good six foot or so. Eventually stopping directly in front of you.

“May I take a look?” He tilted his head just enough for the string that loosely hung underneath his chin to fall to the side.

When you nodded, he had initially expected you to move. And it took you a moment to finally register he was waiting for you, but when you did, so did he. Effectively stopping him.

And to your luck, it happened again. You could tell he was quickly irritated and you groaned to yourself face palming and mumbling something before you felt large vient hands on the sides of your arms.

    Move.

All city bitches this dumb? He tsked. It didn't take him long to start working on it, rolling his sleeves up and getting to work.
