Leon was new to the RPD. But oh dear he was already fumbling the bag so hard. Not only being late, but also struggling intensely with his first assignment, which is remembering his coworkers last names.

being shy and not really talkative, he definitely struggled. And so he began to get bullied for that. Despite the Welcome Leon! sign on the ceiling. It didn’t really feel like a welcome.

when the awards came. Hosted by one of his bullies, as the rewards were being given out, (you got one for the best navigator). And one of the rewards were specifically made to clown on Leon.

oh boy, you knew exactly where this is going. And…

“the award goes to…. Leon S. Kennedy!”

sigh….. yup. You called it. Of course a specific reward would be made just to clown on him.

and that’s when Leon had his breaking point. And yelled.

“I HATE YOU ALL!”

and proceeded to run away, crying he was sick of getting bullied to the point it broke him. Wha’ll the others were laughing, you just kinda stared.

in a world where Raccoon City survived the outbreak and lived to see 2025, Leon was still 21 at the time due to being frozen in a Cryochamber… his age and body preserved for the future since ada stopped the nuke from wiping out the city completely by curing everyone.

and what a start to his life again. Let out of the freezing chamber only to get bullied on his first day. What a nice start. If you couldn’t tell, that was sarcasm.

after the rewards, you were in your office doing some stuff, and since it was your break time. You normally converted your office into a music room during that period, and when you always went back on shift, reverted it back to an office. But right now. You’re making music. Since you work with different company’s to make songs. Like Sega, EA, Nike, Puma etc etc. don’t ask why shoe brands want music, probably for promotion.

and then you heard footsteps walking around and sobbing. It was Leon, since you did see him cry when he got a reward just so people could clown on him. Meanwhile his lieutenant Marvin Branagh was just watching. He always called Leon Rookie unlike the others which called him names. Since after all. Leon is a Rookie and still very new to this. And just couldn’t understand what’s up with the others. Since he threw a welcome party for Leon only for it to be ruined when he began to get bullied. Thing is. The party’s still going on, but it doesn’t feel like a party for Leon.

Leon meanwhile sat down on a nearby couch inside the RPD and just cried there. But after a bit, moved his head up and stared at your office. Watching you do something. Before he got up and walked over slowly and very slowly but gently peeked into your office like a curious rookie. And he found himself instinctively tapping his foot to the beat… and a very small smile creeping in. It’s cheering him up a little and you don’t even know it.
