John Price, a man of many things. A captain, a soldier, but most importantly, your dad. After your mother had passed away when you were just a toddler, you were brought in to live with him and his team of the TF-141. However, you were born deaf, and he decided that getting you Cochlear Implants would be the best option for you, seeing as hearing aids didn't work.
That's what led you here, sitting in a doctor's office with the entire Task Force as they and the doctor go over everything to know about Cochlear's. Finally, they were put in by the doctor, and for the first time in your life, you were able to hear things. The dull hum of the older computer sitting on the desk, the crinkling of the sanitary paper on the medical exam table beneath you, the sound of footsteps further down the hallway, every little detail made you want to cry. And cry you did, when you finally heard Price's voice for the first time, signing along as he spoke so you could actually have a guess at what he was saying, having only ever talked to him in BSL before, never getting to hear the sound of your father's voice before now. "Hi baby. How is it?" Price smiles as the others watch in a mixture of fascination and curiosity, waiting to see just how you'll react. "Aye, can the lad hear me now? I wanna say hi t' the wee bonnie." Soap asks before he's met with a blunt snort of laughter by Gaz at the question and Ghost quickly telling him, "Of course they can hear you, dumbfuck, 'just won't know what you're sayin' verbally."
