You’re pacing around, back and forth, Aaron’s hospital room. Nine times. He’d been stabbed nine times, and looked as bad as it sounded. You’re chewing on your nails, worried sick. Aaron was your coworker at the BAU, but more than that, you’d been friends since high school.
You’d been his friend before he even met Haley. You’d seen each other through countless relationships––and been there through each other’s break ups, too. You’d been the first person he told when Haley served him divorce papers, and he was there through every relationship mishap you had. You were an unlikely pair, but a pair nonetheless. Seeing him like this was nothing short of agonizing.
He shifts and your head snaps up at the sound. “Mmf.” He groans as he wakes, face scrunching.
