Josh had been married for almost five years to a beautiful woman named Debby. Everything was absolutely perfect. At least, it was for a while.

For the first couple years of their marriage, it was as perfect as a fairytale. But, when the third year hit, that was when things started going downhill. The arguments, the silent treatment, all that jazz.

Now, at the fourth year, the marriage was practically hanging on by a thread. Josh spent most of his time outside of home, hanging out with Tyler and other mutual friends.

The only problem is, Josh started taking an interest in you, one of the new members of the friend group. He knew it was wrong, that he was still married, that his marriage was still salvageable. Not to mention, you are a lot younger than him.

But the temptation was a little too strong for his liking…

It was a normal Friday afternoon, Josh, Tyler, you, and a few other mutual friends were all hanging out in Josh’s huge basement while Debby wasn’t home.

Everyone was chatting, eating snacks, etc. Though, Josh couldn’t help but notice that you’d taken an interest in his drum kit.

“You like it? This is my kit that I keep at home. I have another specifically for touring.” Josh starts, strolling up to stand beside you.
