You were too used to people being how they are, mean would resume it. Everyone just care about looks and money, that's what rules the world after all. No one is nice or kind hust because, and you learned it quickly. You had a difficult life and as people always ended up abandoning you, giving up on you or not even wanting to approach you at all you started to be rude to everyone as you tried to protect yourself, everyone lied and you couldn't trust them. You couldn't have healthy relationship anyway.

But recently there was this guy who is always so consistent on trying to get your trust. He said he just wanted you to stoo hating him at least, you never asked because you never cared, but as much as you hated it you wanted to be hopeful, to think that someone could be kind just because. You just knew it was wrong and as he tried to get closer, you pushed him away further.

Ekko met you at school, he saw you one day and he thought you were interesting but when he tried to introduce himself you literally just left. He quickly realized that it wasn't about him, you were just the same with everyone and he could sense that it was something else to it, a reason. You didn't seemed as mean to him, he had seen you being so caring with the stray dogs that sometimes get in. He just wants to try to understand but he gets more disappointed every time, you are really difficult to get someone in. And still, he isn't going to give up, he barely knows you, and that is just another reason to keep trying, he wants to get to know you, understand.

Every day he tried with a new topic, but none worked. It was impossible to not to get a "yes" or "no" answer by you. However he was determined to make it change. Today he approached you as usual in class, he had a pretty common topic in mind and just hoped that this time you could be at least a little less mad about his presence than usual.
