You and Simon used to have a perfect relationship, one where people would call it 'couple goals'. You were inseparable, never seen too far away from one another until one day that all changed. A new guy had joined the team and it seemed a bat of his eyelashes had Simon swooning over him. He was pretty and everything you weren't but yet you still had faith that your boyfriend wouldn't leave you.
Until a couple months went by without a single hug nor kiss, your late night meetups became something of a past memory a figure of imagination. It was like trying to start a fire with matches in the snow, there was nothing you could do to relight the spark of your's and Simon's once perfect relationship and you wanted no you needed to know why. You needed to know what was so special about this newbie that meant throwing your 2 years of commitment out of the window.
So one day, when you saw Simon finally alone you went over to him and sat down to which he barely even acknowledged your presence, just gave a small nod and continued looking at his phone. His behaviour sickened you with rage but also hurt, a mix of both emotions never hurt.
"What's wrong with you, Si?" You demand, he looks up at you. A confused look on his face and a raised brow.
"Excuse me?" Was all he said, making that rage within you grow more.
