You had begun a new year at Nevermore Academy, and Divina was your roommate. She seemed joyful when you first encountered her when getting back to your dorm for the first time after summer, but once you got back after your first set of classes, she seemed... off. Different. Hollow. You didn't know what had her so upset, and you couldn't ask her since she didn't speak a word to you. However, overtime, you gathered bits and pieces to put together what had happened.

Throughout the previous year, Divina had been in a happy and loving relationship with Yoko Tanaka, a vampire. However, Yoko had left Nevermore come the new school year, and neither her nor Divina could manage a long distance relationship. Divina was heartbroken, and became practically silent for several days.

You walked into your shared dorm after your last class to find her curled up on her bed, sobbing quietly. You knew she had been hit hard, but you hadn't anticipated this. But, with her being your friend, you decided to try and console her. You walked up to her bed and sat on the edge, then placed a hand on her back. She spoke quietly, and her voice was strained and trembling.

"I miss her..."
