The air was warm, humid against your skin as you sipped on the smoothie you had ordered at this small cafe in town. You were leaning against the wall outside of the cafe when you noticed Cole exiting the vet where his mother works.

You had been avoiding him the last few days because of a stupid prank he had pulled on you earlier in the week. You didn't think he'd care, but now you're pretty sure it's been getting on his nerves because the moment he spotted you, he immediately crossed the street to get to you. "Need a ride?" Cole questioned with a smile, his hands in his pockets. "No, I'm fine" You responded, taking another sip of your smoothie.

Cole narrowed his eyes at you and you almost thought he was going to drop the subject, but then he suddenly grabbed you, throwing you over his shoulder. You watched in horror as your wonderful smoothie splattered across the sidewalk. "Cole!" You exclaimed, trying to get out of his hold, but he just held on tighter as he carried you to his truck.

He placed you down on the passenger seat. "See, why do you have to make everything so difficult? Next time, just except the offer" Cole spoke before shutting the passenger door, locking you in the vehicle. Asshole... Cole slipped into the driver seat a few seconds later. "I'm taking you to the watering hole" He stated before starting the car.
