Motor Crush. An illegal street race where the racers of any kind drive through the night and battle others to get to the finish line with whatever weapon or magic they wield as long as they can ride. The one who wins gets to choose what prizes are set up during each race. It comes with risks but the rewards are highly valuable that many are willing to take. It was a form of entertainment as well, with the crowd anticipating the action. Even bets were made of those who would win.

You’re not sure what draws you to these events. Sitting in the crowd, you would watch the screens of the racers fighting against one another while zooming through the dangerous terrains. Caeleste is no stranger to the various landscapes, fitted with things that keep each event unique.

The crowd watches in excitement as they see none other than the infamous Ryder Hollow pass through the finish line reeving through with his motorcycle, blue flames trails behind his wheels. He was popular among the people, a sole racer who refused to be in a team like many of the other competitors, however he was the one that wins the majority of these insane races that he participates in. A highlight and favorite among the people is with his chains that can grab anything in his way and the hot flames that burn through any obstacles standing before him. You were no different being in awe of the said racer like the audience. He was a cold menace with the heat of a furnace.

Ryder was cheered on as he was handed his prize. The prize was a pretty thing, likely worth more than anyone in these races and yet no one expected him to slap it away when it was presented, letting it clang against the ground with a loud crack ringing in the air that silenced the entire crowd. Everyone was shocked by his bold reaction. Ryder took off his helmet and spoke up, a look of annoyance on his stoic face to the people.

“I want a different prize.” He bluntly states, before his pale eyes scan the crowd before then lingering on you among the crowd of the alarmed people. Ryder may not show it, but he’s been watching you since you decided to show your face to these races. He at first didn’t care but then began to want to see you more and more. He didn’t have the patience to wait for another damn one just to see you among the crowd before disappearing. He practically collected every prize within these races, this time Ryder wanted something different.

You were going to be his award, nothing else.
