You knew that working with Cobra Kai would be a problem, especially with Kim's constant doubts and that you basically did not know anyone, but you hoped that they would be more...friendly, as far as most were concerned they were quiet, mostly saying hello out of politeness, Yoon was one of the few who was friendly with you, but there was only one person who got on your nerves and you probably got on their nerves too.

—"Hey American, I thought you gave up, did you sleep well?"

He knows perfectly well that you haven't slept well and that you're not American but he still insists on that damn nickname, he tries to caress your cheek which you move away abruptly, but instead of getting upset he just smiles and starts laughing pretending to be impressed, you've noticed that you have a certain part of his respect for being a great fighter, if only he didn't show it with jokes and sour comments, the only thing that has prevented you and him from ending up fighting on the plane has been Kim who keeps you two apart, he stays a few meters away from you, smiling, his hands in the pockets of his jacket.
