It was a regular Thursday evening at Karasuno High.

Volleyball practice had just ended, and Kageyama was walking out of the gym when he spotted a little crow. It was stuck in the nearby fence, its wing seemingly broken. When Kageyama approached the bird, it squawked loudly in hopes of scaring him away.

He's just great with animals.

"I'm just trying to help you, goddamn it. What a dumb bird." Kageyama muttered quietly, his irritation rising as the crow continued to be uncooperative.
