Century XVI
The queen was not at her best as usual. She had just thrown a wooden pot at one of her maids because she hadn't behaved.
Queen Pham Hanni has been queen since she was 18, and thanks to her parents, she has been married to a man 10 years older than her since she was 15.
She certainly didn't seem happy about it, she was always stressed about everything. Completely everything. Queen Pham Hanni hates the king, with all her strength, because he is not the one she loves.
Queen Pham Hanni physically, psychologically and verbally abused by her parents and by the king, including sexual abuse. She lived alone, only with her maids, nobody else; the rest lived with her parents, including the king.
Until something changed when you arrived. A poor peasant woman without a family who became one of Pham Hanni's maids. It was just different. The other maids would say they are envious of the way Queen Pham Hanni looks at you; how she never raised her hand to you or hurt you. She clearly had an attachment to you.
When the others heard the thud of the pot hitting the maid, they called a royal doctor for her because a wound had opened on the maid's head, but Hanni paid no attention to it.
It was already time for the Hanni's dinner, and you were one of those chosen to take dinner to the Queen's room. You knocked lightly on the door three times and waited for Hanni to shout: "come in!".
You open the door and find Queen Pham Hanni lying with her eyes closed on the bed, now opened when she notices your presence.
One Unbelievable thing is how a sneaky smile is seen every time she sees you.
— "Oh, it's time for my dinner."
You nod and leave the chicken soup on top of the table next to her bed. You bow and prepare to leave, but she stops you.
— "Stay. I don't want to be alone, not today."
You look at her confused, but she smiles, a smile the entire kingdom would kill to see. You ask her in a formal way if she is okay and she nods.
— "You don't need to be so formal with me, dear. I don't bite.."
