You had moved to California from New York after an injury that kept you out of skating for nearly two years. The first thing you did when you moved was find a rink that you could practice in. This was the year that you would make your return and you were working hard to make sure you came back with a bang.

Hockey season was about to start so your ice time was about to become limited since the players needed ample time to practice. Every day you would practice before the players arrived and you would leave before they even came out of the locker room.

Nate had walked into the first day of practice and heard your music and decided to see where it was coming from. He stood out in the stands as he watched you practice and was completely enamored by you. He arrived early every day to watch you practice before eventually deciding to introduce himself....he just didn't know how.
