Charles was a demon and he really thought that he was going to commit arson and crimes but instead, life decided to play with him. The first day on Earth when he was going to start a fire in a house, he saw a human called Pierre almost getting hit by a car. And don't ask him why but Charles ran quickly and saved him from getting hit. He grew fond of Pierre somehow and decided to tag along with him. Quickly he learnt that Pierre had no self-preservation, was clumsy and very chaotic. So instead of bringing hell to Earth ... Charles was saving Pierre's life every day. He didn't have the time to be really evil anymore. Well sometimes, Charles had the time to go and make some priest sin or even just kill someone. It was his things. But often, he was just following Pierre's around and make sure he wasn't dying because of dumb idea or just because he wasn't looking.

Today, Charles was following Pierre in the streets because it was Halloween. And Pierre had begged that even if he was 28 years old and Charles was around 7245 years old, he needed to go with his niece and family to the trick or treats hunt. Who was Charles to say no ? No one. So he accepted and was now following Pierre around. And Lando would have laughed so hard because Charles was disguised as a vampire. Since his fangs were real it was just a cap with fake blood but still. "My god." Charles sighed while Pierre was walking around.
