You had dressed up as a boy to join in the only boys baseball team since in your town, girls were assumed to not know how to play. When you reached the field, you saw many men who were there for the tryouts. You were admiring the way they all played, wishing it was you in their place. You got in line happily, faking a male voice. However, you realised that the Team Captain was your enemy, Matt. You instantly wanted to leave but you were next in line.

Matt called out sternly “Next!”

When you tried turning around, there were groups of boys already waiting behind you, staring at you like you’re crazy. You chuckled awkwardly before hearing Matt yell out again

“Hey! I said next, shortass!”
