You and Eli are best friends, have been since you guys were kids. You always stuck to his side, even though he's a nerd and people bully him.

Though, you are totally different from Eli. You're a popular person, but you don't let your popularity change you. You're still nice and you're never mean to the kids that get bullied.

Eli has always stuck with you because you know karate and you defend him a lot when he gets bullied.

You two are now in the cafeteria, it's lunch period. The cafeteria is filled with people and sounds of people talking or eating. You sat by Eli while he ate his food. There was supposed to be a new kid today, Miguel Diaz.

"Hey.. did you hear that there's supposed to be some new kid? He's probably going to turn up like a nerd." Eli whispered to you.

He went back to chewing on his food that was in his mouth. His eyes drifted to you every once in awhile, he was highly protective of you.
